A Note from the Founder

I launched this practice in the spare bedroom of my condo in Tampa, FL, in 2016 but had been building it long before I had a name for it.
Before VSNRY existed as a studio, or INGENIUS became a platform, before people started using words like “creator economy” or “cultural intelligence,” there was just the work — curiosity, instinct, and belief that culture was telling us something long before the market knew how to listen.
Visionary Rising began as a solo-founded practice. It was me - a strategist with a nonlinear career path across Nielsen and a few agencies - the work here led me to Apple, Microsoft, and category-defining early stage startups - chasing a feeling I couldn’t quite shake: that culture was becoming the most powerful economic engine of our time, and nobody was building the operating system for it.
I didn’t start this because I wanted to run an agency. In fact, it was the opposite.
I started it because brands kept asking the wrong questions, creators were being undervalued, and too many people were building for culture without ever being in it.
For years, VSNRY was the place where I experimented out loud — architecting moments, shaping narratives, translating nuance into strategy, and building a practice rooted in the parts of culture that couldn’t be easily quantified yet. The work has moved through music, fashion, sports, community, and early creator-led media. It has been messy, emergent, and often wildly ahead of its time.
But, about two years ago, something shifted for me.
The work didn’t always scale.
The questions seemed to get bigger.
The demand for depth outpaced what one studio and a collective of creators could deliver.
That’s when INGENIUS was born — not as a pivot, but as an evolution. A technology layer built on top of a decade of cultural practice. A system designed to measure what VSNRY had always been able to see.
Today, INGENIUS Brands is the fusion of both: the cultural practice that built the foundation and the technology that turns that intuition into intelligence.
VSNRY is no longer “just” a studio. It’s the creative and cultural engine powering the operating system for the Culture Economy across brands like Reebok, Wingstop, Liquid Death and more.
It’s where influence turns into impact, narrative becomes intelligence and the next era of brand-building is being architected with precision, context, and soul.
When I look back on the last decade, I see more than campaigns.
I see the practice that helped shape my career; one that has taken me across the world, allowed me to experiment with concepts and enact pillars long before I had a name for them.
I see the creators, partners, and moments that helped fortify my theories long before investors, patents, or platform launches ever entered the chat.
I see the receipts of a decade spent betting on culture before everyone else realized it was the market. I am profoundly proud of the work reflected here.
But even more proud of the system we’re building on top of it.
VSNRY laid the foundation.
INGENIUS scales the vision.
Together, they form the next chapter, one I’ve been writing long before I knew where it would lead.
Here’s to the work that built us.
And to the future we’re building next.
