Visionary Rising Agency launches new vertical, Good+Rising
The new vertical aims to foster DE&I for BIPOC Brands & Creators in the Beauty, Health, Wellness, and Lifestyle industry.
Visionary Rising Agency is launching a new vertical today called Good+Rising, as an extension of our overall brand.
Following a rise in conversation around the diversity and inclusion in the beauty and wellness space, and the importance of mental health and wellness in the Black creative community, our founder, LaTecia Johnson saw an opportunity to add to this important conversation and help to shift the idea of wellness as it relates to Black + POC creators and communities. Good+Rising’s focus will be to further inclusiveness for these creators, brands, & influencers in the beauty, health, and wellness space while building comprehensive campaigns for brands who want to reach diverse audiences.
Good+Rising is an extension of the Visionary Rising Agency. The lead initiative, a database for Influencers of Color with an emphasis on Black Influencers, launched on June 16 and aims to increase the number of Black influencers in the industry. Visionary Rising knows the world of health, beauty, and wellness needs to be reshaped to more accurately reflect the world we live in; and we know that beauty brands who are incentivized to maintain the status quo can't be trusted to change a broken system. So, we're here to lend our expertise to amplify the voices of those who’ve too often been left out of the conversation.
The Good+Rising vertical will be led by LaTecia, setting the digital and creative strategy and Visionary Rising's VP of Strategic Development, Ashley "Nala" Williams, whose focus will be on securing partnerships, identifying key opportunities for growth, and overall development of the vertical while leading our growing team of strategists and account managers.
Our strategy has always been to create verticalized channels for our community and utilize our company’s deep knowledge to universally shift the conversation for diverse audiences. We create products and build services for what our consumers and clients want and need, based on their lifestyle, which is how we approached this endeavor.
For influencers, we are able to deliver content, strategy, and partnership sourcing with a team of creatives who’ve worked for the world’s largest brands; and, for Brands committed to creating long-term structural change in the areas of DE&I, we are able to offer expertise in building targeted campaigns utilizing creators and culture to bridge the gap to diverse audiences.
We are excited about this latest vertical and look forward to continuing to build the future of work for the creator class.
